Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 small habanero pepper (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

    • 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
    • ½ tsp ground cumin
    • ¼ tsp salt
    • ¼ cup water (adjust for desired consistency)

    Instructions:

    1. Sauté the Garlic and Habanero:

    1. Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat.
    2. Add the minced garlic and diced habanero pepper. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    2. Blend the Ingredients:

    1. In a blender or food processor, combine the mango, sautéed garlic and habanero, lime juice, honey, cumin, salt, and water.
    2. Blend until smooth.

    3. Adjust Consistency and Flavor:

    1. If the sauce is too thick, add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
    2. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add more honey for sweetness or lime juice for tanginess.
