Ingredients:
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
- 1 small habanero pepper (seeds removed for less heat)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup water (adjust for desired consistency)
Instructions:
1. Sauté the Garlic and Habanero:
- Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and diced habanero pepper. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
2. Blend the Ingredients:
- In a blender or food processor, combine the mango, sautéed garlic and habanero, lime juice, honey, cumin, salt, and water.
- Blend until smooth.
3. Adjust Consistency and Flavor:
- If the sauce is too thick, add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning. Add more honey for sweetness or lime juice for tanginess.
