Ingredients:
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 4 cups water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup whole milk or almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon, for garnish
- Ice, for serving
Instructions:
1. Soak the Rice:
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- Combine rice, water, and cinnamon sticks in a large bowl. Cover and soak overnight (or at least 4-6 hours).
2. Blend the Mixture:
- Remove the cinnamon sticks and transfer the soaked rice and water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large pitcher to remove solids.
3. Add Sweetness:
- Stir in sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
4. Chill and Serve:
- Refrigerate until cold.
- Serve over ice and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
