Ingredients:

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup whole milk or almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon, for garnish
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions:

1. Soak the Rice:

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water.
  2. Combine rice, water, and cinnamon sticks in a large bowl. Cover and soak overnight (or at least 4-6 hours).

2. Blend the Mixture:

  1. Remove the cinnamon sticks and transfer the soaked rice and water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large pitcher to remove solids.

3. Add Sweetness:

  1. Stir in sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

4. Chill and Serve:

  1. Refrigerate until cold.
  2. Serve over ice and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
